Clear thinking, human design, and experiences that simply feel right.

Hey! I’m Ashita.
I am person who rewrites a message 3 times because I care how it lands.
The one who notices if you haven't spoken in a while on a call and checks in after.
I don't beleive in doing things just because they have "always been that way". I ask, I wonder, I try again.
I don't speak in headlines, I notice the subtext.
In a team, I bring patience, perspective and persistence.
Skills
No One-Size-Fits-All
But here's how I usually move through things.
Step 1
Listening (nodding like I am not building theories in my head; I am)
Before I touch a screen, I listen to people, gaps, silences, and what the brief isn't saying.
Step 2
Asking Questions That Sound Stupid
(but aren't)
"Why are we doing this?" is my usually m favorite
design tool.
Step 3
Mood Boarding The Feel, Not Just
The Look
Sometimes it's color. Sometimes it's tone. Sometimes it's "what would this feel like on a Monday morning?"
Step 4
Letting The Work Tell Me Where To
Go Next
I don't push it. I follow my intuitions and when it feels right and I am satisfied - THAT IS WHERE I STOP
